Celebrating 50 years of excellence

Welcome

On behalf of the Perrysburg Symphony Association and the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra, I would like to welcome you to our 50th season. Since 1961 the PSO has presented classical music concerts, making performing arts an integral part of life in Perrysburg. This season offers dinner and music, lectures and music, Christmas music and a Young Artist's Concerto Concert. We hope you will enjoy them all!

I would like to thank all of our patrons and sponsors. With your attendance and gracious support, we are able to continue to provide our community with these opportunities to experience live musical performances. I commend you for supporting the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra and look forward to meeting you at our events.

Sincerely,

Barbara Schlatter

About Us
Greetings from the conductor

Dear Friends of the Perrysburg Symphony,

It is with great pleasure that I look forward to the 2011-2012 season of the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra. As we continue the 50th year of fine performance by the Symphony, it is important to recognize the orchestra's contribution to the community. Outstanding programming, exciting performances of works by major composers, Holiday classics, Pops and Educational Concerts assure a place in the audience or onstage for everyone. Successful collaborations with the Perrysburg Chorale, the Perrysburg Arts Council and the Perrysburg Public Schools are all indicative of the orchestra's influence and its important position in the community.

These performances and activities have been generously sponsored by the hard work of our Board of Directors and many others. Contributions of money and time help realize the artistic goals of the orchestra. This is a time of opportunity for regional and community arts organizations and I encourage the participation and involvement of all patrons and audience members. The Perrysburg Symphony Association has begun its membership drive for 2011-2012. I urge you to consider membership in the Association or involvement in another aspect of the orchestra's support. It will mean a great deal to your community.

It is our hope that the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra will continue its tradition and be the opportunity for cultural and spiritual nourishment that we all need. Please join us this season of performances!

Sincerely,
Barbara Specht
