IN APPRECIATION OF LEWIS R. HELDT

The Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra Association is pleased to honor Lewis R. Heldt for his work in creating and being the original contributor to the endowed fund for the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Heldt has dedicated his life to public service. He began his career as a classroom teacher and guidance counselor with the Sidney Ohio Public Schools. He went on to become the guidance director and school psychologist for the Washington Local Schools. Mr. Heldt became the school psychologist for the Toledo Public Schools in 1959. While working for the Toledo Schools, Mr. Heldt served as head psychologist and director of Federal Title Program for Learning Disabilities.

After retirement, Mr. Heldt continued his devotion to public service, becoming involved as a donor and supporter of the Toledo Zoo, WGTE Channel 30 and the Toledo Humane Society, to name just a few of his activities.

We in the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra Association would like to salute Lewis Heldt for his devotion and philanthropic support of the arts. Mr. Lewis R. Heldt's life works serve as an inspiration to us all.
